Meet Our Guest Speaker: Steve Sidd

Steve Sidd is a well-known and respected figure in the food service industry, with over a decade of expertise in hospitality management, project management, and consulting. As an innovator and pioneer, Steve has perfected his ability to excel in the management of multiple venues. He is a champion of the industry, advocating for future growth and success.

Foodservice is in Steve’s DNA:
Steve’s love for food started in his family restaurant, where he found his “happy place” amidst the bustling kitchen. Rather than hitting the waves with his mates, he spent weekends watching, learning, and dreaming of owning a restaurant one day. At the age of 18, Steve took his first step into the restaurant business with a small fruit shop. With his father’s encouragement and guidance, he ventured into owning and operating numerous cafes, bars, restaurants, and catering venues. Today, Steve serves as the Managing Director of Catering HQ, overseeing 26 dining concepts and 40+ event spaces, plus a technology platform and a centralised production facility. His venues boast a highly qualified team of professionals, totalling over 400 employees, committed to delivering the finest quality food safely and hygienically.
