For Immediate Release

In the mission to provide solutions that deliver real value and support to its members, Food Service Suppliers’ Association will be introducing a range of new support services that its members will have exclusive access to. These services have been identified as critical and specific to the FSAA member operations.

The services FSAA will endeavour to bring to the member benefits portfolio are HR, Legal, Food Safety & Handling, Sustainability, Workplace Safety, IT and Quality.

FSAA will negotiate on behalf of its constituents a value proposition from each of these services that will form the basis of an Associate Membership Agreement.

This being said, FSAA is extremely proud to announce its very first Associate Member, GSD Safety. GSD Safety exists to assist operations to meet compliance by working with businesses to manage People, Business and Reputation through Safety Management Systems.

Minnie Constan, CEO of FSAA said “We are thrilled to be introducing GSD Safety to the membership base. The introduction of this solution to members is a timely one especially as businesses are encouraging people to come back to the workplace. GSD are ticking the boxes, with the potential of making a real difference to a business’ piece of mind when it comes to safety.”

People, Business and Reputation are at the heart of what GSD believe safety should represent. Safety is an integral part of operations and must be aligned to policies, strategy and governance. GSD offer a 2-day in depth 20-point evaluation that can identify gaps in your workplace to save lives and reduce the risk of regulatory fines or prosecution.

“We are looking to assist FSAA members in their obligations to meet the WH&S Act. The 2-Day – 20 Point Evaluation, will ensure all members are operating in a compliant manner with their procedures. This new partnership is very exciting for GSD Safety; we are delighted to partner with FSAA in their mission to support the industry as the national peak body”, said GSD Safety Director, Rob McDonald.

Minnie Constan, CEO of Food Service Suppliers Association Australia said, “The partnership will deliver much needed support to food manufacturers and suppliers across Australia, and we encourage you to contact Rob McDonald, to book your workplace evaluation which will ensure you are meeting the WH&S Act.”
